    Amazing tank!!

Any problems with humidity in the room? How many pounds of LR did you start with?

Have a roto zip? Maybe you could shave it down with that? Man, don't think this is going to be an easy fix.

    Keep us updated buddy!

    Karma for your troubles.

After further investigation I have decided to leave it be. 1) I think the overflow has always been pushing up on the Eurobrace. I think my constant weight on it has caused the crack
    2) the front side has the same effect but has not cracked 3) with both front and back doing the same thing, that would mean I do not have a twist in the tank. 4) Waiting will allow me to ensure it is not getting worse and cutting the teeth could only mask a worse problem.

So I don't think it's too bad and need to see if it is getting worse.

    Thanks for the support all

Jason why would the overflow move up to push on the brace or the brace would move down to hit the overflow ? To lay on 5/8th glass and cause it to crack or move would take a mid sized car almost .. can you post a photo if you get the chance may be an underlying problem somewhere ? I have stood on the bracing on this oceanic several times in the life of the tank .. Also I saw where you had a moisture issue also with an exhaust fan do you have a humidistat on the blower ? Reason I ask is I had one around here somewhere if I run across it you are more then welcome to have it..

Is the tank over a crawl space?? Just wondered it you braced under it well. Might put a bottle jack under there to see if you can get movement out of it.

Well I haven't updated in a bit. Actually I haven't been participating much as of late. Sorry Matt. But that is how it goes when I have a crashing tanks
Over the last month I think I have created "the perfect Storm" to crash my system. Many warned me but I thought I had a handle on it. Any way Lesson learned.
I will describe my perfect storm.
As many of you know I run a Zeovit system. This is a very low nutrient system with 0 Nitrates and >0.003 Phosphates with out fail.
I do not blame Zeovit for my problem, but running Zeo I believe has exaggerated the results. I should have known better.
Anyway. First I took my CA Reactor off line and started using a dosing pump to dose Calcium Chloride as the CA component and Soda Ash as the Alk. I also manually add the 2 part Mag supplement. Everything was doing very well with this new system. My levels had never been more stable.
I then replaced my MH bulbs. Not a big deal I really like the new SPS bulbs
I then replaced the Zeolith in the reactor.
I then decided to try the new Deltc H2O salt Bad move. this is when I began to run into issues. Not that the salt is bad it's just the levels are too high for a Zeovit tank.
At about the same time I had to mix new CA for my dosser. I had acquired some bulk CALCIUM CHLORIDE ANHYDROUS PELLETS for less money than BRS sells it and though I give it a go.
Then I started to suffer massive coral STN and RTN it is all from the coral tips and has effected about 60% of all my corals. Even my LPS are closed and not looking happy.

I think the CACL2 was a lot stronger then my previous CA supplement and, not knowing it, I was using a defective CA test kit. It was reading low so when I thought I was at 470 I was actually at 510 or higher. Of Course on Zeovit that is deadly to coral

Anyway. I have been working on bringing my levels down and I pulled the Zeolith reactor you of my sump. I'm going to run my Tank without ZeoVit for about 12 months to see how it goes.

Wow...that really stinks Jason :( I wonder how you feel that the Zeovit exaggerated your problem? I don't know enough about the system to understand that part...sorry :)
