Can you mix a jawfish and a goby?

I have a 90 reef. I'm rebuilding after a long bout with ich. (8 weeks, no fish in DT). I'm considering a blue-dot jawfish and would like to mix it with a goby of some sorts. If so, or if not, what gobies have you enjoyed? I've only had a yellow watchman, years ago.

Also, I have 3 Bartlett's anthias. They eat in a frenzy. Would my jawfish or goby have trouble getting food with the anthias?

You can mix jawfish and gobies together. They might have a problem getting food with the anthias in with them. If you feed two times a day might be ok.

Is it okay to have the goby and jawfish in the tank since they are similar body style? I would like to learn more about this as well since I think the Blue spot jawfish is quite spectacular!

Also, are the jawfish considered jumpers? Should you have a lid on the tank?

My blue spot jawfish jumps when startled, and frequently goes up to the surface. It seems like he's hunting something up there.

As for gobies, I have 2 sharknose (cleaner type) gobies that the BSJF lets clean him, a Rainford (sand-sifter type) goby that he doesn't mind too much (just the normal "don't come in my burrow" aggression), and a hi-fin red banded (smaller burrowing) goby that just lives in a different part of the tank from him. I'm guessing from my goby-heavy tank having no problems that a BSJF is at least safe for smaller gobies, as long as the goby doesn't try to run into its space.

Thanks to everyone for their replies.

The bluespot is definitely a jumper. (I have that "covered")

blackraven...wow, thanks for sharing your firsthand experience. You've answered my question. What size tank do you have all those gobies in?
