Jawfish Owners Poll - Jumped or not?

had 2 pearly white jaw fish. they were in the tank over a year, never even seen them near the top of the tank. they always seemed to be popping out of their holes and searching the bottom or things to add to their home. if you have room for more than one i would go for it. they are so funny the way they sneak over and take stuff from the others home. its really cute to watch.

My blue-spotted jawfish jumped out of my qt a couple times. Once during the day while I was watching. Next time at night, but the thud woke me up. Once in my DT he did well for many months without jumping. After him, i covered my qt and dt with a plastic gutter cover. The bsj later died of ich.

 

Sooo, I got a Pearly Yellowhead & had him in my 55g for about 4 days & then he disappeared completely. He had made a nice burrow, was coming out to eat when I fed, saw him come out twice & was very active eating in those initial days. I haven't seen him in a week & a half. I scoured everywhere inside/outside of the tank, no sign of him, I'm wondering if he jumped & my pitbull ate him, hmmmmmm, no idea.

 

um yeah jumped day 18........4 days after 2 week guarantee......made it out of about a 1/2 triangee in the tops of my ecocube....was actually about 3-4 feet from the tank....he was very athletic....

 

ive only had a blue spot jump on me, my pearly is loving life
