If its tempered, then yes you do have a problem with drilling.............it cant be done. However, you have two options to find out whether or not which panes are tempered...........1. take it to a glass shop and have them give it a quick look and 2. contact the tank manufacturer. Ever 75 that I have seen, only has a tempered bottom, but Ive been fooled before. Best get ahold of a profesional.

AWESOME find. I do have a question. Will that stand hold your tank once you get all the water, sand and live rock in it?

I had the help of an engineer friend when putting this stand together. Before painting this stand we set a ramp up and drove my riding lawn mower on top of it which weighs 800 lbs. The structural integrity of this stand is second to none. We built the legs out of PT 4x4's when most are using 2x6's or 2x4's. The coolest part about this stand and you can't see from the pics is that the end pieces have bee offset creating a vent on both sides allowing air flow to my sump/fuge cabinet once i put the doors on.

Great score! You might as well have stolen the tank for that price( I dont recommend anyone stealing anything, it was a figure of speech). I pretty sure its all glass except for the botom as stated already. Just do some research. Keep us posted. Luna

So today I picked up my sump. Its an acrylic sump custom built by Tenecor. The diminsions are 30"x17x15. It really only has two compartments but I am thinking about making a third so I can have a refugium. Is there a way I can add a fuge without adding another sheet of acrylic? Anyhow here are some pics. It looks small in my stand but it really isn't.
