This is only my second tank. Been in the reef hobby for less than a year total but i've been into large freshwater tanks for about ten years now. It's amazing how much more work a 75 gallon reef tank is compared to a 200 gallon cichlid tank! Anyway, here's my new tank! It's only been up and running for 2 months. Before this was a 45g RR tank that was running for only 6 months before I wanted more...

The open brain is a trachyphillia, used to be called wellsophyllia.

Coral look great. Sorry I am no help on the chalices, I just buy what I like and not care about the names. There may be 2 or 3 names for each chalice depending on the vendor.

Because of the many different types of corals I have, I had to create many different lighting levels hence the slope from left to right in my tank. I don't think it looks bad and of course like all tanks, it looks 100 times better in person.

I saw the fts in the "say hello forum". That thing looks much larger than a 75. Cool though.

Best way to do it, you never get disappointed because you can't find something on your list.

It does look pretty big. It's a 75 though. I made the stand higher than any stands i've seen. I needed space for the beast of a sump and skimmer. I was tired of reaching in blind on my old setup. Now i can fit my whole head under there to look above the sump in any of the compartments.

That's a good thing though. It being higher up seems to make the glass itself look much taller. The stand looks like 3.5 feet high?

Extra room for equipment is always a good thing. :)

Tank looks rally nice! The rock-scape looks very natural with the left to right slope. Any plans for some more livestock?
