It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Sg: Specific gravity 1.023-1.026 is the safe range. Since you have live stock you need to make sure the difference (or swing) is as little as possible.

    wc: Water change.

RO/DI: Reverse osmosis. If you are using any other type of water for water changes or top off you may run into serious algae problems at the least.

I've found that if the water level in the 2 return pump chambers get down a little low they will cause a whirlpool effect
(like the water draining in a bathtub) and suck air into the pumps causing micro bubbles, topping of daily keeps this from happening to me.Hope that helps :)

got my CUC from reefcleaners today! They sent me sooooooo much! haha
unfortunately, I have not seen one snail move since I started acclimating them. Hopefully they are just in shock and the weather did not kill them.

Congrats on your cuc,but don't acclimate if it isn't too late, float to temp and dump in as ammonia in the bag becomes much more toxic when fresh air hits it and the ph starts rising. And yeah,John is great,i've ordered 5 or 6 times from him now and always get much more than I order along with awesome and fast service. And your ceriths and nerites can take a day or two to start moving because of just the shipping shock.

I added them earlier today. I just floated them for 20 minutes and dumped them in. There was water in the bag but hardly any and I had to take out the paper towels. Hopefully this was the right way to do it, since that is what it said on the website!

Yep,they should be fine, just give them a while to adjust.I've gotten orders in very cold weather with very few or no losses.I've noticed that mine won't move till the lights go out, then they tend to scatter.Again, congrats!Very fun time when a tank starts coming together. And did you get the penny macro?:)
