Copepods and amphipods are usually crawling around on the substrate, rocks and glass. Did you use a sugar fine sand?

Also I have to top of with RO/DI water almost daily to prevent micro bubbles, but the evaporation here is terrible. I would imagine that if you are not topping off every 3 days at least or do not have an auto top off (ATO) you would probably see an increase in the micro bubbles. Also you should be able to see some come put of the outputs if the water level is the problem.

Koralia 3, the nanos do not do the job IMO. Especially if you want to keep LPS and SPS. I think they are worthless for anything over 10 gallons.

Well I guess it would solve both our problems if someone knew how to attach a sump to this tank. :p

The issue with attaching the sump is that there is very little room to place another pump in the intended sump area of the tank. This tank is just not designed for the addition of another sump.

    1. You can go without a hood and run it out that way,
    2. Hang on the back sump like a CPR.
    3. Or put a pump on top of the pump feeding the tank in the right hand most corner and run it out that way, they same way you set a chiller up for this tank.

Honestly if your preference is to have an alternative sump to the one built in than this is probably not the tank you want. It is not an easily modified system. I have done it boths ways with a HOB sump and no sump, and there was not any difference in the tanks water parameters. It does give a tiny bigger margin of error but not enough to make a huge difference. The tank can be drilled but I do not have first hand knowledge of that.

The tank is intended as an AIO.

I actually went down to multiple nanos. I prefer having the flexibility of multiple smaller pumps rather than a single large pump.
