    Well,heres my JBJ 28............round 2 :cheesy:
Since my heater failure,i've rethought this tank and made some (hopefully) major improvements.Starting with a fluval 100w heater,I've switched the lights from cf to 4bulb t5s,running the lights front to back also lights the filter chamber quite well,i'm going to convert the basket to a diy fuge,I added a ps-75 skimmer on the side, also added another 250gph powerhead to the tank for a total of 4 pumps for much better flow, now theres no dead spots, still need to tweek thier positions :) The water is still a little cloudy from moving everything around.Hope you like.

My little helper trying to rip the camera out of my hands.

Nice upgrade. You will be able to grow just about anything or everything.

I like the new scape too, it's built up and allows a lot of space around it.

It's also very open behind the reef for better flow and hopefully less detritus build up.I think I like less rock in there!:smart:

    wow very nice Grinder!

Something weird going on with my Yellow Watchman. As you guys might remember, one of his fins had started to disappear until it was entirely gone. I just saw him today out of his little hole and the end of his tail is gone too! This could have happened over the course of the past few weeks, since I have not seen him out of his burrow. Could he have an infection?

Thanks allenmay, kind of a wicked looking contraption! lol

I'll leave your watchman question for Corailline or somebody better suited than me on diseases, luckily, all the years i've kept fish both fresh and salt i've never dealt with to many illnesses.I wonder if mabey something is attacking it?

I agree with grinder, I would consider something is attacking it while it's in the burrow.

Sick fish may not eat, or the eyes are not as bright, coloration is pale. If none of those apply it maybe predation.

What corals and inverts do you currently have? Any serpent stars?

I think he is eating because he comes out everytime I put in food and eats a good bit.

All I have in my tank is a torch, frogspawn, and two o/c. clowns. Clowns have been in there for a week or two. He never goes close to the torch though because it is pretty high up. When his first fin started to go missing there were no other fish in the tank

Did his fin look to be rotting?like all stringy and shagy,or was it more like pieces missing?
