Since I don't have clowns yet, he immediately jumped to #1 for me :) He has been in the tank for less than 24 hours, but he is already cracking my wife and I up with his personality. Here he is just peaking out at me:

    Wait until he gets comfortable.

They seem more like dogs than fish. He will watch you and react.

I had a sad day on Saturday. I came home from a frag swap to find one of my percula dried up on the floor :(
Now I have a question. The one that jumped was the dominant of the two. Can I put another clown into the tank?

Yes the any slightly smaller one will do fine if you lost the female.

The male should become the dominate female.

Sorry for the loss, it's very frustrating.

Just curious, how did he get out? Are you using the stock hood?

No. I took the hood off in May and bought a Radion. I'm selling the original LED hood. It worked great, but I fell for the Radion hype.

Dazed and confused Jbj 28 lighting issues

Hello, this is my first post on here and honestly I have to say I am quite confused with the jbj 28 nano and its lighting options. I have read several posts reviews and articles about these and it's only made me more clouded. I am looking for a fps setup with some zoos and mushroom. I want an anemones down the road, and that's about it. I have heard that the pro led model bleaches the coral but the intermediates isn't enough, but the halides are too hot and the PC is weak. Are these reviews and opinions correct? I was hoping to hear from people who have owned the tank and what set-ups work for the different types of lighting. Also if anyone has any advice on which type I should buy with the setup I desire. Honestly just any info on the matter would be much appreciated. It's making my head hurt.

I do have the HQI MH option and yes it does run hot and you're best off running a chiller. You can also raise the lid and run extra fans. My tank has been running without a chiller for over a year now.

I have never had the LED pro version, although I would be surprised if it actually bleached coral that were probably acclimated.

I have had a PC version as well, you can do the easier clams (Derasa, Squomosa) and sps (Pocillipora and some Montipora).

Welcome to 3reef, and please let us know the type of light you choose and your review.

Can all of these lighting options support LPS zoos and anemones. I am leaning towards the lower model of led or the pc model.
