JBJ Lighting

Has anybody dealt with this company? What about customer service and quality of product? I would like to hear good, bad, indifferent, other or anything that could help me make a decision.

A local person said that the LFSs quit carrying them because of product problems as well as customer service problems. Returning defective product was a pain in the tail. Is this still true?

Everyone has their own experience, but mine has been great with them. A few problems a while back, but nothing since.

 

I have one of their chillers. it works well and is VERY quite

I've owned two JBJ lights including my fuge light that ran submerged for 10mins. snap crackle pop in my sump while I did maintance in the other room.(no GFCI lesson learned). Turned off the curcuit breaker pulled the light out. Let it dry out for two days. Carefully plugged it back in and it came back on and runs fine.
Not suggested but a well built light. Never dealt with customer service though.
