You really can not go wrong with Reefcleaner's. If that is what they recommend, just make sure you have some algae growing and you will at the end of the cycle, so the snails have enough to eat initially.

I'm looking at the aqua c because of no notching the hood, plus,i'll finally be able to raise my hood without having to remove the collection cup,but from what i've read on reviews they are both suitable and very good skimmers. And you cannot go wrong with reef cleaners, great products and customer service. As far as your lights go,yes they are good for coral,my coral are all softies with a few lps and am having no problems with coloration, health or growth.

    this one?
    Remora Hang-On

looks pretty legit. A little more expensive but if it fits, is more convenient and does the job than its good enough for me!

edit: actually i just saw that it hangs off the back.

would you guys recommend 1 or 2 Koralia Nano pumps? And at what flow rate (240 or 425)? My cycle is on the verge of being done and am ready to make some skimmer and powerhead purchases! Exciting!

I have 2, one is the koralia #2 and one is a #4, but that is over kill. I think you would safe with a #3. The koralia nano model does not do the job, I tried it.
