    Hello 3reefers,
I wanted to share with you my review of the JBJ Ocean stream system.
I purchased the 1600 gph set and it includes 2- 1600***pumps and the wave maker.*

I will say I bought this to replace my 2*koralia*2s and 2*koralia**1s*

So far after the month and half of use I'm very happy with these.

They move water very wide I can see the water movement front to back on my tank and are capable of moving water from one side of my tank to the other. Tank dims are 36" long 20" deep 18" tall*

The one main thing about these pump is there under tow or if flipped the over tow if thats a real thing is almost nonexistent and for me it's perfect.

For the price tag of 79.99 shipped to my door I could not be more happy and the packing job was great.

I didn't like them. I sent them back. they were to bulky and i didn't like the plastic connector that connects to the magnets. you also didn't get the sis to side movement you get with the koralia's.

I dont think they are any more bulky then the 2s their is a side by side shot to compare above.

I think they provide a very nice side to side actully I think there so wide I ended up putting a K2 in the middle on one side of my tanks and the JBJs on the other side front and back running in the WM and it's great I'll post a pic of what I mean

But if don't like them then you don't like them. And I'm not knocking Hydor products by any means

I know this is an old thread but I was hoping you would provide a long term review now that you have had this kit for a while.

I'm debating ordering this kit or spending a little extra and buying some Sicce Voyager 4s.

    Yes sir,

It's been 6 months of use and these pumps are dong great. Never one issue compared to my Hydors sometimes not starting back up
These start back up each time.
I have them on 10sec intervals and they produce a nice back and forth mixed flow.

I have recently upgraded tanks to a 6' 84gal and ended up even more happy with these pumps. So much so I'm planning on buying two more to maximize a more chaotic flow pattern in the new tank.

Here is also a recent pic of the same Milli as above just for reference
You can see the poylps are moving nicely.

How loud are the pumps? My tank is in the living room where we watch a lot of movies and I really want to keep things quiet.

Ugh I can't really hear them my tank is about ten feet from my couch and I'll I can here is a little water from my skimmer pouring out. They make zero clicking noise during the transition from one pump to the other pump every ten seconds.

    Hope that helps

I installed this kit the other day on my 90 gallon bowfront and so far so great! I liked that it was easy to install and that there was no vibration or clickling noise at all on these pumps. Hope this helps with the review!

I also have the 2 x 1600 with the WM and really like it. I have it in a 150 gal corner hex and have had it for about a month so far. It has a very wide, gentle movement compared to the Aqueon 1650's I had. Also, they make no sound when switching as compared to the "click" I would get from the Aqueons and the Koralia 750 I have.

I'm ordering another set and will be running one WM on a long cycle (90 secs) and the other on a short cycle (20-30 secs) to give some good, chaotic movement in the tank.
