Does anyone have any experience with this setup? I just ordered one and was wanting some input. I am planning on just some zoos, mushrooms, xenia, a couple snails, hermits, and a shrimp. no fish are in the plans. it will be basicly a small frag tank of sorts. Ive got plenty of sand/CC, and LR for it so it wont cost to much to set it up.

You should get an LED light to replace the one it comes with

looks like it would make a pretty tank. be ready for a stricter maintainence schedule than with your 120 gal. i tried a 10 gal for a while, and learned that you really have to stay tight with water changes, temp management, feeding amounts.... going without fish probably will help, especially if you use established LR from your 120 to start the pico.

one thing that seems nice about that particular tank is that the filter is pretty big compared to what companies usually stick in packaged tanks. curious to see how good it turns out to be.

good luck! put up some pics...

hey, great choice of tank ive got the exact same one, and in it i have a 1" dsb 2 small peices of lr with some coral on them, all together i have about 14 diff species of zoos, some yellow polyps, and pipe organ coral along with some diff small feather dusters that hitch hiked into my tank and they look cool so they got to stay. but i dont have a filter or skimmer or anything on it just a small water pump stuck to the back wall for some circulation. ill see if i can post some pics on here and id love to see some of yours if you have it set up already
