    Since 20 gallon longs are 30 inches long and my tank is about 19 inches long, I would say you could definitely keep sps in the center of the tank but not on the edges. You could do an aquascape that leaves some swimming room on the edges or something. I'd say the ideal tank size for this light is probably a 15inch cube.
