Tank is fishless. Last Chromis, who hanged in there for a week disappeared last night. *sigh*

On other hand, my corals are doing wonderful. Maxima clam is uber happy and cheato in fudge is absolutely teaming with all kinds of copepods and amphipods. Some are pretty hug in size (fire ant size).

Going to start my 8 week count form today.

I'm sorry I missed this when it was posted. I'm so sorry to hear about your fish :( Leaving the tank alone with a water change or two should help restart you. You may want to wait even longer if life dictates. Sorry for your losses.

    Holy copepod madness.

Every white dot you see on glass is a copepod.

Took some better macro shots and a macro video:

Don't forget to turn 1080p HD on and watch full screen :)

So it's isopods then, not copepods?

Yup, copepods are much smaller, like 1-3mm.

    Still a good sign though.

When will you be starting a QT? Any updates about this are appreciated - I'm interested in learning your practices.

Actually, these things are about 1..3mm in size. I just used my mega uber macro lens :) But still, they do look like isopods.

I still have 6.5 weeks to go. Once I get closer, to 4 weeks, ill get one going. Thinking a 20g long with a bio-wheel filter.

Nice build, what are your plans for corals? Will it be SPS dominated or more like mixed reef?
