No. I've asked Neptune guys if Vegas are supported by their VDM, and they said no, only SOls.

I got WXM module to control two MP40s via Apex though

I've had the upgrade bug for a year now. But I decided that if I am gonna do it, ill do it all the way. Been saving up for a while.

 

OOOH I didint know that!! Makes sense tho that Vega color has more channels than Sols.. Thanks for clarifying it! Lets hope they come up with something down the road.

 

AI has pretty much stated that they don't intend to provide support to neptune for the apex. So I doubt it will ever happen. They want you using there controller.

 

Yeah, thats not smart if you ask me. Their controller is nice, but as a manufacturer, I'd be willing to lose the controller sale if that meant that somoene will buy my lights over competition.

But overall, i dont see it as being a problem at all. Their controller is easy enough to use to program the lights, control channel ramps etc. I've had two SOL Superblues for year and a half now and love them.

I still can use Apex to shut lights completey on/off if need to be.

I was definitely going to do one male and 3 female anthias in my tank. Maybe i'll fill the rest with various wrasses. I'll need to read up on evolveds posts to see if thats possible/safe.

 

Got the floor reinforced today. Just in case someone wanted to see how I had it done. A friend of mine works for a construction business, he helped me out.

You can't see in pics, but joists running from these new posts to the far wall have been doubled up (another joist paired with them).
