    I have only gotten this far with the help of all you. So i need more help on the demisions of my baffels in my sump. Anyone???

    1" apart on the baffles is a good distance. What is your sump plan? Most people have the return in the middle. Then the skimmer and refugium would be on each end. Your overflow line would split to go to both.

    Yep that was exactly what i was going to do.

    What i need to know is how tall should i get the baffles cut for the skimmer section and how tall on the refuge. side. which will determine the the dept of the water in each section.

    The height is determined generally by a few things, height of the sump, height your skimmer prefers and estimated water that will drain on a power outage.

    With my 40 breeder I made our bubble trap 12" baffles and the refugium with a 13".

    For a 20 gallon I've seen people suggest 9-10" and 11-12" respectively.

    80 lbs ofPukani rock, think i may have some left over i have no idea how i am going to scape this. Does anyone have any pointers and/or point me in the the direction of a few good youtube videos or websites about aquascaping?
