In all the years I've never seen anything like this in any of my systems. I'm thinking hydroid but after looking through my library and looking on line I found a photo of a critter just like it.

Video of the swim action. Much like a jelly would use propulsion.

And finally a pic I stole from an ID thread on another forum. These look exactly like what I found. The ID was unanimously jellyfish. But I thought I'd ask you all.

Certainly looks like a jellyfish swimming. Not sure otherwise. For some reason I think it is something else but have no idea what or why I feel that way. LOL

    Very cool Mike.

    I have no clue either.

I added 2 pounds of sand that was collected in 30 feet of water to my fuge about 2 months ago. And yes it was collected legally within the confines of a LR mariculture facility off the Coast of Florida in the gulf. It was special request granted by a friend because I wanted to see what life would come out of it and look at some under a microscope. I don't know if that is where these came from because I've added frags from numerous systems over the last couple months and algae from the Pacific side of FL.
