    If it pumps when it swims like a jellyfish.... then it's a jelly/hydroid.

    Looks like a hydroid to me. You can see the gut structure inside.

    Ya, they'll die out.

    Seahorse peeps who feed out live brine tend to have bouts of these. They will just fade away.
