    I bought one on saturday and haven't seen it since i put it in,it darted straight into the sand.

    Is this normal, will i ever see this fish or will it be like my evassive lobster which i see oncein ablue moon.

    I wouldn't be shocked if you don't see it for a week. It takes them a while to get used to a new tank.

    Sometimes with new ones you have to feed live brine shrimp to get them to eat.

    Many do bury themselves in the sand, so that's not really a worry right now. I would give it some time and see what he does.

    i found him and returned him for the full value in store credit - replaced with a v friendly yellow sailfin tang- very active and pretty!
