    Seano: It's a 1/2 inch thick natural rubber mat made by Perfect Home. I got mine at home depot - It's called "anti-fatigue commercial mat". What it does is absorb vibration that would otherwise be resonated from the bottom wood of the stand. It will also absorb some of the noise in the stand.

    Seano - No it's not a solid piece, but has holes. I'll do a close up photo in the morning and post for you. Not enough light where it is at the moment.

    Ok. Thanks, Jim. I think even on the link I posted it is hard to tell what the mat is made of. I could find any good results when I searched your mat in google.

    It's made in China for Distribution by Home Depot. Interesting - I can't find it at Home Depot and the UPC locater can't find the UPC code. Ditta Ditta - guess we're in the Twilight Zone.

    75 is down

    It took us nine hours, but the corals are all snug in their RubberMaid containers, and the fish/crabs/snails are all in the tank I plan to use for my fugue. The sand is also tucked away in it's own RubberMaid. I still need to move the moonlights to the new canopy, but tomorrow is soon enough for that. I'm beat and an afternoon nap sounds like a plan.
