Jittery ATO System

I just finished up setting up my new sump on my jbj picotope today. I am having a problem with the ato system now. Instead of being either on or off, the system is switching between on an off very rapidly, about 3-4 times a second every few minutes, I did not have this problem before I added the sump. The float switches are located in the pump compartment of the sump, they are built it. Has anybody else had this problem or are there any ideas out there on a fix? Thanks.

 

the float switch may be too close to the pump. The magnetic field around the pump will effect the float swich...
