It looks like you have a litlle algae problem. That's normal for new tanks, but make sure it doesn't get worse. Keep your nutrients low and do regular water changes. Do you have any of your parameters to post? Besides that, the fish look really good as does the shrimp. Stick your hand in, see if your shrimp will give you a manicure.

I have no idea mate. lol.
Just the standard lighting that came with the tank. There is a UV kinda light and a normal one. Both tubes. Sorry I'm that not more help :-[

There are also a few LEDs for moon light which is kinda cool.

Yeah I know, I wasn't sure whether to leave it or not for my new crabs to eat. They seem to be munching into a lot of it, but i imagine I will have to remove some of it myself.

PH is at 7.8 - 8.0 (maybe a bit low?)
    Ammonia is at 0
    Nitrite is at 0
    Nitrate is at 0

Salinity is at 1.022 (going to nudge that up a bit when i do my first water change)

    Temp is at 78*F

Haha the fish seem to be settling in well, they have eaten most of my pods in the space of an hour! :cheesy:

Nitrates have slowly been creeping up, and my algae doesn't seem to want to leave. So today i'm going to add a very simple refugium. Small tank (maybe 10Gallons), with 2 compartments. One for all my macro algae, mud, critters etc; and the second one for the pump.

I will see how that makes a difference over the next few weeks.

I have some more pictures to upload, but photobucket is down for maintenance so will add later.
