I made a couple of purchases today.

I got 3 Emerald crabs to help with my bubble algae and a Potter's Leopard wrasse. The wrasse has been at the LFS for about 3 months and looks very colorful and healthy. They are in the sump acclimating now. Pics of the wrasse when I can get them.

Surprisingly the wrasse did not dive for sand when introduced. Everyone else was afraid of the wrasse though. It is now starting to glass surf.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
He is a beauty John, congratulations.

Pretty funny all the others were intimated by him. Not knowing much about wrasses I would have thought your yellow wrasse might have had some issues.

    Thank you

Thanks Cheryl. From what AI have read Halichoeres species wrasses only have issues with their own species and possibly within the genus but it is supposedly rare.

The Potter's has ignored the rest of my fish so it is kind of comical they were afraid of it. The Canary eyed it up once and the Gramma has a couple of times. Everybody is acting as if nothing has happened now.

It is time to feed so I will see how the new one eats and if there are any problems there with each other.

Nice shots, John. The wrasse makes for a very beautiful addition to your tank.

I am very happy the Potter's ate pretty well. It did have trouble competing with the rest but I think that will change soon enough. It was somewhat picky but I know it was fed this morning where my fish were fed last night.
