    Thanks Eric, I noticed that when I checked them out before buying. I did see some that had the yellow too, just not many. Maybe it will become more orange with time. I could use a fish with some orange on it.

    FWIW, I feed twice daily, and all my fish are a bit more selective with the second meal.

    Canary's are (generally) very passive.

    Correct, yes. The only problem I've ever had w/ Halichoeres was a Canary with the introduction of H. timorensis. Which contradicts my prior statement...
    As I said, in general. :)

    That will change for sure. Monkey see, monkey do. As long as it's eating (and swallowing; often they spit it back out in the beginning) anything it this point, you'll be fine in a week.

    Thanks for letting me know her sex.

    Most statements in this hobby should be taken as generalizations due to the fishes personalities.

    She did spit some out and ate others. She did come looking as soon as I put the food in the water. She also went to bed at her usual time at the LFS too.
