Oh thank the heavens you put a clam image in for Alex.

A stunning clam image I might add. The Zoanthids next to the Chalice image is spectacular as well.

    All beautiful John.

Thanks Hunter, I am a little worried about the one polyp that is receding as it is still very slowly doing it. It does seem to be trying to shut down any progression though. Hope it succeeds soon.

Colors are getting richer the longer I go between carbon changes. Seriously considering not having carbon filtration.

I noticed that; figured it had fallen onto the fungia at some point. It doesn't look too bad to me. If all fails, off with that head. :)

Beautiful... Seeing shots of your tank make it extremely hard for me to play the waiting game on my box of rocks to mature enough to start investing in the pretty stuff.

It hasn't that is the weird thing. I don't remember bumping it. I wonder if it got damaged since one of the wrasses appears to sleep in the area.

I'm doing my best. Been down this road once before. Last time I rushed everything then paid for it over the 18 months of its life in extreme amounts of maint just to keep it alive. This time I'm going slow, keeping hands off and away from the LFS to minimize temptation. Once again beautiful tank. It is a personal inspiration.

Thanks Alex, congrats on the new coral.

I just picked up an Elegance coral from mt LFS. I will have pics up once it acclimates and is open. It is yellow with blue tips at the LFS. It will be interesting to see what it looks like under my lights.
