    just wondering what kind of camera your using to take these pictures, they look very good, are they raw? or do you clean them up? im new to photography sorry!

    I have a Canon Rebel EOS T3i. The shots are taken in RAW format and then I white balance, crop and make lens corrections in Canon's post production program. The lens corrections are for pincushion or barrel distortions and they brighten the edges. You will find that distortion correction is necessary on all lenses. Although if you crop the edges in far enough to eliminate the distorted lines it is almost impossible to tell if there are no other straight lines in the picture. You will remove most of the shading that occurs on the edges also.
