    Beautiful as always 2in10,love the elegance,but what is that large sps in the center? And has it broke the surface?

    Thanks, the one taking the most space is an A. formosa and it has broken the surface.

    Hey john, quick question. do you run a chiller? if so can you run the hose after a reactor into the chiller then the tank? my tank went all the way up to 84.5 degrees =( disaster is coming!! i now have a fan blowing through the surface. how well does it keep temp cooler?

    I do not use a chiller. My heater is set for 80 and controlled by my Reef Angel. I keep my AC set at 75 and have lots of water surface exposed to air.

    You may not be forcing enough water through the chiller. Chillers will add a great deal of heat to whatever room they are in.

    Fans blowing directly on the surface do an excellent job of lowering the temp of your tank. I have one $10 6" clip on fan for my 55 that has no problem keeping the tank at 78° during 90° days (no AC in the house). As long as you have an ATO with plenty of water, you should be all set.
