I just placed an order for a second MP40 from Marine Depot. Should see the pump Monday or Tuesday if it ships today.

 

Love Marine Depot. I ordered at like 1 pm, it shipped same day and got it in 3 days.

John are you going to do the reef crest, if so please post images.

Should be very interesting to see any change in PE.

I am expecting more PE. My Rose Stylo which is on the same side as my current MP40 has more PE and is looking quite bushy right now. I think the corals on the opposite side will show more PE after acclimation to the pump.

I am thinking of using the tidal swell mode. I have the it on reef crest right now at about 80% full power. The last shots I posted in the COTM thread are of the stylos under reef crest. They will be showing more PE as my Ca drops back down to the normal range. It was up at 680ppm. Got my doser set to high and did not test it often enough to catch the issue sooner.

Woohoo, 680! Bet you had to recheck that result. Good thing it was Ca and not alk.

Yup on both, I need to keep track of alk since that is all that is being dosed for now.

 

My Acro's all showed great improvement after the addition of my Vortechs. I run mine (now) on Reef Crest, opposing pumps, 100%. I also have a closed loop on Sea Swirls to add randomness the the second degree! Congrats John!

 

Awesome! Congratulations. However much you like just the one.. it's going to blow your mind how great they are in anti-sync. It's really amazing.
