After doing a little research anti-sync mode is the way that I want to run the pumps. I think RC mode will be the one I start out with.

Thanks Hunter, I will do the same when I get home.

I'll need to mount them in the stand too. How well does the adhesive work on painted wood. Or would you suggest anchoring the tape to the stand?

The tape didn't work well for me, do you have a staple gun?

We're talking about the tape for the cord retainers, right?

I've always mounted mine on the upper rim of the tank, then use another near the back edge before sending the cord behind the tank.

If you stick them lower than the dry side, there's a chance the dry side could smack the tank if it come undone. If a snail crawls into the wetside and stops the impeller, the seizure load will cause both sides to come off.

    Oh, oh, just re-read; sorry.

Ah, the drivers inside the stand. It sticks, for a while. Then they fall off. I used some HD velcro I got from Home Depot this time around. I've used dots of superglue in the past to help as well.

No I'll need to get one, or build a holder for the drivers.

    Thanks
