John, what flow are the palys under to get those long sweeping tentacles?

Those palys have large tentacles to start but the flow is moderate I would guess.

What's the coral covering the sphere in the left side? I'm looking for something just like that to blend in a crease I've got between two rocks. Tank looks great John, kudos.

Very nice FTS shot, John. That's tough to do, getting the focus and colors just right on a whole reef tank.

Cheryl, I had those same green Palys. They get very long whiskers in low light. They can be a little invasive though, but they look nice.

    I agree on the FTS.

I thought she was talking about the blue ones called Medusa Palys. The green ones are very invasive.

I do have Medusa Palys, and they seem happy but they do not have that exaggerated look to them.

Seems like I read somewhere that flow is important to getting that flowing long tentacle affect.

Well there are in mod to a tad higher flow, but pretty high in the tank.

    Hmmmmmm

Thank you and sorry for the hijack John. :)
