    The Hygro looks good short and as I was checking it out I noticed the Crypt patch on the right. Is that C. wendtii?

    Yes two different variants I think. But they look the same now.

    i have a 55 fresh water with gravel and i want to make it planted what gravel did u use or sand?

    It is hard to see but I have C. spiralis, C. crispatula var. balansae and C. retrospiralis behind the log. I also have Aponogeton crispus behind there.

    I am using Aquariumplants.com's gravel. I also use their pellet fertilizer.

    Along the glass from front to back
    Cryptocoryne wendtii
    Hygrophila corymbosa (3 different morphs)
    the highly pinnate plant on front is Hygrophila difformis.
    Jave fern is the blade leaf plants on the branch.
