Thanks 2in10, just the answer I was looking for ;)
I was hoping to have the Java fern, and Crypto. Wendtii in my build (with the lighting you showed me)
    Could I do this?
    Thanks again

Definitely, check out C spiralis, C retrospirals and C 'Balansae' they have very long thin leaves and make a nice counterpoint to heavier bladed plants

They are the long thin leaved plants to the left of the light green thin leaved plants at the back of the tank. They don't show very well in my tank right now unfortunately.

Absolutely stunning...I wish I could kept my planted looking that good before getting frustrated and giving up and switching to saltwater.

looking great man. I ended up pulling all my Hemianthus Callitrichoides out of the foreground because I couldnt keep algae off of it. I mainly just have Staurogynes Repens and a few Ludwigia peruensis in the background.

Nice! A good friend of mine (addicted to saltwater) was looking into a planted tank, so I showed him your thread. Nuff said, he started his 75g the next day!

Thank you, I think I got lucky when I started out to get everything going well with minimal problems.

It can be tough with low growing dense plants.

Thank you very much, I am honored.

I know I have said it many times, but I will say it again. Awesome tank 2in10!
How much should I dose the excel? (55 gallon tank, 2 54 watt T5HOs)
Also does driftwood alter any params when you add it? I was reading something today about it, but it just does not make sense to me.
