    Thanks, I agree, tetras seem to have their best colors in a planted tank. The reds on Neons, Cardinals and Rummynose Tetras were so intense when I had them in my planted tank. Lemon Tetras also color up fantastically in a planted tank.

    Did you ever think of adding a Flying Fox or Redtailed shark to that tank John?Two of my favorites in a planted tank.:)

    I have Siamese algae Eaters so no to both of those fish. Once I have CO2 injection on the tank I will add Pearl Gouramis back in. They don't seem to do well with Excel dosing.
