    What is the red stem in the middle area of your tank? Rotala Sunset? Beatuful FTS!

    Thanks, the stems in the middle are varieties of Rotala macrandra. The narrow leafed on the left is call 'Magenta' and the bright red on the right is 'Japan Red', in the middle with the in between sized leaves is standard macrandra.

    Should be OK with a good fertilization routine. I found you need to keep the potassium high of the stems become very brittle and woody. Also you need to keep PO4 around 2ppm and NO3 at 10 to 15ppm.
