    They have a beautiful professional planted tank at the Zoo I go to, yours put's it to shame, seriously.

    Thanks, that is the result of cleaning up the mess. I still need to work on the Staurygyne repens on the right and left front of the tank.

    2-19-12 pics after final clean up

    Removed most of the Madagascar Lace leaves to train it grow them shorter. Replanted the Staurygyne repens.

    Removed some Java Fern

    So acting on a suggestion from a member on another site I remove some Java Fern. I have a 1/2 gallon zip lock bag stuffed full of Java Fern now.

    Still need to remove some individual fronds to keep from shading the foreground plants.
