    Changed out the old 6500K in the middle position with a new Aquablue Special. Reds are popping again with the new bulbs and growth has accelerated greatly.

    That is awesome about the growth. What is the plant in the top pic? I just found a new LFS (well new to me) that has an awesome selection of freshwater plants. I didn't get a good chance to look though as I was busy chasing my 3 and 4.5 year around lol.

    As a non freshwater guys I have no idea what that top plant photo is, but that is seriously BA. Looks awesome as always John!

    Thanks, the plant is Limnophila aromatica. Common name is Rice Paddy Herb.

    Ok, thanks for the heads up. Now that my reef is getting to the point of where I want it, I want to get my son's 16 gallon bow front going with plants soon.

    Very cool. The plant's leaves can grow to 2 inches long. The plant in the pic is about 3.5" in diameter.

    Thanks, That is awesome though. I'm sure my kids would love a nice planted tank as much as they like my saltwater tanks lol
