I had a "high tech" planted 30L for a bit. Nothing on this scale though. Between this and your reef I imagine you have the routine down pact. I enjoyed the planted tank while I had it. Its really cool to be able to see the plants grow from day to day it seems like. They grow much quicker than any coral could imo.

LOL by a huge margin. Some of mine grow around 3" a day. "High tech" is quite the challenge until you get everything balanced out. Not a lot different than a reef really.

I don't have an ATO on the planted tank so I had about 1/2 gallon of RODI water daily and dose micronutrients daily and potassium every other day. I dose PO4 and NO3 as needed since I have a heavy fish load and feed them well.

I was doing good, but I wanted to try something different with it though. Attempted iwagumi and failed. I didn't choose the right rock, so I got discouraged and sold everything but my metal halide. I thought about starting another planted tank and keep it low tech, but i know that would change lol.

Iwagumi is very hard because of its perfectionist element. Low tech is difficult because you are so limited in your plant choices.

Iwagumi is so amazing though! I like carpeted substrates so naturally I would like it. Sorry to get off topic, beautiful tank again. Do you sell your clippings locally? You could probably furnish a small planted tank with all the clippings you get.
