Not sure if I'm in the right section, but I have some of what i believe to be Joint Three Section Tube worms in my tank, they're becoming a pest since the thread like substance they secrete are becoming tangled up in my corals causing them to become irritated and close up. I tried breaking the tube with the intent of killing them but the tube is quite hard.

What can I do to get rid of them?

Sounds like vermitid snails. Pull the rocks out if possible and seal the ends with gel super glue. If not use epoxy to seal the tubes.
