    OK... I have been putting off building my hood for about a year now. I had a week off, so I got some of it done. I have the base portion built, and all the lights test fit in. I removed all of the lights today, and am currently putting coats on enamel in to keep it waterproof. Here is what I have so far.

    I also included a pic of the joints I am using. It is a Kreg joint, also called a pockethole. Super strong and very easy.

    Yeah... I know, it is a lot of light.

    Still have the moonlights and fans to install. Job never seems to end with this one.
