In October, I had to take down my reef, sell it off along with some equipment, and move across country due to getting out of the military. While it was sad to see my established reef and tank taken down it left me with the chance to start over, and do things differently. First off, I got new LED lights, and I commisioned my dad to build me a custom tank and canopy. I had a standard tank stand, and it frustrated me because there wasnt enough room for my equipment! So the new stand is 36'' tall, and 30'' front to back and 50'' inches wide. This left me with room to put a 55 gallon tank underneath my 90 as my filtration, plus enough room for a 10 gallon in front of that. Here are the stand build pics.

    New Paint

Of course my Wife hated it, so we repainted it over Christmas break. The new color gives it a completely different look.

The new stand has alot of room inside, which is exactly what I wanted. It has doors on each side that open up wide enough that I can remove the 55 gallon filtration if I wish. The Canopy houses my Hydras nicely.

This is the inside of the stand with almost no equipment present, I mounted a small strip light underneath, adds alot of light.

Because I am not setting up my tank until I have all equipment on my list, and I move into my new house, I "dry fit" all equipment just to see how everything fits. I still have to wait 4 more months, unfortunately.
