My carpenter's wrasse just jumped! It was such a fluke that i was watching the tank because it's exam time for me! Wow, lucked out, hopefully the stress doesnt kill him. All i heard was a loud bang as he hit the glass on top of the tank and how he managed to get out the 1" gap at the back is beyond me! Wow, i'm glad my favorite fish is back in the tank and tomorrow i'm goin to get some mesh to cover the rest up!

As a precautionary measure, all params check out fine!

    Evan.

If there is a way out, they will find it.

Sometimes I imagine that they really do think "...all drains lead to the ocean..." :p

I watched my flasher wrasse do the same thing. Bounced off the wall and everything. Lived through that ,but, died later. "Lucky catch"

Do yourself a favor and pick up some "eggcrate" from your local hardware store. You'll find it in the lighting section, comes in sheets of 2'x4'. Buy either the white or black as these two colors have no paint on them.

    Looks like this:

You can cut what you need, and also cut around any tubes you may have in the back of your tank.

This should take care of any acrobatics as well as leaving your tank with an open top (recommended).

    Good luck.
