    I got three to try and assure a male female combo as the lfs didn't know sexes. I think I have a male and two females. Once I know for sure, one female will be removed.

    I was thinking about doing this, but how are you gonna feed them? do you have a seperate tank set up?

    I have a ten gallon running empty. I am feeding frozen brine at the moment with moderate success.

    man, i'd love to start a seahorse tank, but the food issue prevents me from doing it! whats your thoughts?

    No kidding, I do however see two of the three spending much time togther, and holding tails...

    Feeding is a challenge, but so far they are eating, I am going to add a phosphate reactor to the sump asap as much food goes uneaten. It's amazing these things survive in the sea....

    One thing I've read (i was going to set up a seahorse farm a few years back) is that its nice to put in plastic plants for anchor spots. I know i know its ugly and tacky, but it really help the critters out to have a stable and constant anchor system.
