    Sigh...... why two indeed.

So my wife saw an add for jungle bobs about 1 to 1.5 hours away, and we went to check them out since i have ALWAYS wanted wild cats. Well we get there and they are 4 femals, 15% wild. Sweet fun kittens about 3 months old.

I ask flippantly, "Do you have and polydactyl males?" The breed had 2 that were just born. Hook-line-and sinker. We have a rule we won't get a new cat unless it has extra toes to keep down on the hoarding.

Today we head up to get our 4 week old, they had two males, and the 4 month old now females were being sweet to Ashley, especially one of them. She made me get her. They are loosely related having different moms and dads.

The male is 30% Jungle cat and 15% bobcat. He is going to be crazy. Right now if you look at him wrong he purrs. I was telling ryan, we have one of those ball rings that is 5 times his size. He was batting the ball inside then pounced on it, bit the plastic and shook it around.... then drug it to the corner.

As for the other cats, we have them sequestered right now for acclimation (just like fish) They are not extremely happy as they know whats up, but I'm hoping everything works out and they integrate well. The female may not work out, she is a little standoff-ish which won't be tolerated, as everyone know girls ruin everything.

    Boy they sure look mine.

Yeah got to watch that hoarding lol, toes are a deal breaker, hence the reason I do not keep cows.

Congrats Alex, you will have a lively household for a few months.

Are you kidding? One of the reasons we wanted one is for Zorn to play with someone. He need to play constantly, the house is lively. Its a viscous cycle getting kittens to play with him. Abakai just lazes about and plays poorly half the time, Spaz gets too wound up. Looking for a good balance.

Jungle Bobs aren't too bad. We got the "Montana Discount" and the female (Lanfear) was practically free since she wanted her to go to a good home and she is 4 months.

Jungle Jack Alex hannah! Awesome cats alex. I think you need to add an ocelot still though, although that may lead to a drastic decline in your current population. In my neck of the woods, we've just started seeing actual bobcats show up lately, kinda surprised how big they are!

    Enjoy your zoo;)

I pulled out mu hiking pad to sleep on the floor in the room we have them in for now. Both cats immediately layed on my, but the girl, Lanfear would hiss at the little male, Lew Therin, every time i pet him. It seems she might be a little possessive.......

Long story short after a couple hours i went to the soft bed.
