Junk at bottom of bucket in newly made water

    IO and reef crystals had a nasty brown slime that came from the clay they use. I have switched to red sea and have not had any issues since.



    It could simply be a little bit of sand, which won't hurt.

    What SG is the saltwater at?

    I keep the water at about 1.025 salinity.

    I use Instant Ocean I believe.. Sad that I dont know this off the top of my head lol. Never had an issue with debris. Glad to hear its not a problem though!
