My tank is a 57g rimless with 3x AI Sols, Warner Marine bio pellets, and a Reef Octopus skimmer. It's been up and running since August of last year. I wanted to post a few growth pics. They're taken on my iPhone, so forgive the less than perfect quality. The chalice is from April, the Cyphastria and rainbow monti from March, and much of the rest from November and December.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks like your getting some nice growth and encrusting.

Nothing is more rewarding then actually seeing some growth.

    Thank you for sharing.

And a full tank shot. Still feels a bit fraggy to me, but getting much better. This pic doesn't do it justice.

Cameras seldom do capture the true coloration.

How is that Copper Band Butterfly doing for you and what is he eating?

He's a newer addition. I've had him for about 6 weeks and he's doing great and fattening up so far. I didn't want one until my LFS called to tell me about a real healthy one and they didn't lie.

I feed twice a day a blend of phyto, oyster ova, nutramar ova, decapped brine, cyclopeeze, and PE mysis. He eats the medium and larger chunks happily.

Oh, he's also taken out a fair chunk of the worm and pod population.

May I ask what fish you have?

Wow you put a lot of effort and care into his feedings, twice a day hmmm.

    Beautiful fish.

I see a Cardinal and the tail of something else?
Anthias would probably fit in well with that feeding regime.

Sure, I have the butterfly, a pair of oscillaris Ive had since my last tank, a pair of kauderns cardinals that are on their third brood of young, a law mower blenny, and a goby that snuck into the overflow. Also a cleaner shrimp, a few small peps, and breeding populations of limpets, collonistas, stomatella, and brittle stars.

I like to keep the tank well fed. I really want a group of anthias, but I'm moving to a new house and upgrading to a 100-120 either this month or next. I'll hold off till everything is stable and happy in the new tank en try to add a group.
