Took a few pics of our tank, its only been up and running for 2 months (was an upgrade from a smaller tank). A few fish, some small frags that will hopefully expand and some inverts here and there. These are the only pics that turned out halfway decent but you get the idea. Adopted the Yellow Tang and the Pair of Tomato Clowns today from a local reef guy. The Tang has some battle scars but the price was right (free) and hopefully we can nurse him back to health.

Thanks! We have tried and tried to get a full tank shot and it always blurs. Do you have any tips on how to take a decent full tank shot with a not so advanced camera?

My cameria is okay, not great, so what I've found helps is I put it on "aquarium" setting and I step pretty far back. I've found if I'm at a closer distance (but one that seems right to me) the picture is always blurry. Try standing farther back, and bending your knees, so your camera is the same level as your tank. I have no idea if that will help, but that's what I do!! ;)

Looks nice. Just need some more live rock for more places to set your corals. Tank looks a little small for the yellow tang tho. How big is it?

Its just a 40 but the tang is pretty small anyway. We adopted him knowing the tank was a bit small but we didnt want to see him die. Both the tang and clowns came from pretty poor conditions. Neither of them had lighting, no rock, no sand, just bare tanks with a bit of seaweed. We're definitely looking into more rock, theres 40+lbs in there now, just havent got around to buying more. The pic makes the rock look almost non existant but it covers the majority of the bottom. We will eventually add maybe 20 more lbs but want to leave some open water up top and in the front.
