Ok, right now I have a mushroom coral and a real small zoa colony and I'm looking to do some expansion. I have stock biocube lighting: 10,000 K and actinic PC lighting. I also dose calcium as well. So here are my questions.

    1. What do you guys think of getting corals off of ebay? I've been looking around and some of the prices are cheap and I know to only buy from sellers with good ratings. I've found these and am not sure:
Toadstool frag (2" tall) grows fast, hardy $10 shipping - eBay (item 110440340255 end time Oct-02-09 16:28:14 PDT)

BEAUTIFUL AQUACULTERED TORCH CORAL!!! SINGLE HEAD - eBay (item 130334157067 end time Oct-02-09 17:20:51 PDT)

    2. Also, what do you guys think of torch corals or pink tip anemones? Will they do well under PC lighting?

Thanks in advance for your time. If you don't think something will do well under my lights please speak up.

For those prices (shipping included) why not just get them from your LFS? I personally wouldn't get the toadstool, seller has a low feedback score.
I would not put an anemone under PC lights.

Ah, I just got done reading that thread a little while ago. Yeah, that does suck and I can see why you wouldn't buy from ebay again. But hey, if your looking to frag off some of that hammer, let me know.

I like to see what I am paying for to be honest, to be able to study a fully opened coral in a dealers tank and pick the nicest looking one from a collection of same species on offer, is something I enjoy a lot

A Toadstool - Yes that would be a great choice IMO under PC lighting
Torch - not sure, never had them under PC - but some have I know from this site

purple tip nem - no idea, never had one under any lighting - they move, that worries me, so I dont bother with them

You see, I would love to get stuff from my LFS, but here in Rolla (aka, the city in the middle of nowhere MO) my LFS only has one saltwater tank and it's a 10gal. They know nothing about saltwater and have a guy come in from St. Louis every other week to take care of it. They said they can special order stuff for me, but prices are steep. One single mushroom was $50, not a rock with a couple of shrooms on it, but just one lonely shroom.

Yeah, I would love to also, but like I told Pack, that's a little difficult around here.
