Just a few questions

Yeah, tell me about it. Looking at the sites of those marine expos makes me insanely jealous. Don't even get me started when I hear about some of the LFS you guys go to.

Ok, so this may be a little out there, but what about a clam? I've been reading some things about them and I know that for the most part they need a lot more light than what I can provide. But I was looking around on Melev's Reef site and he has a blue tridacna maxima that he keeps under PC, it even stays all the way down on the substrate. So, can it be done, or is this just better left to someone a little more experienced than me with better lighting?

well these 2 threads from here are a good source of information on various aspects of Clam care, including lighting

not ever having used PC lighting, Im unable to offer any personal experience of any species kept under said lighting
