Yup, you'll start feeling the sting from anemones in seconds! Now those guys are stingers!

What about dishwasher gloves? The yellow ones. I might try to find non-powdered. Humm... I hardly touch my corals anyway, only when the blasted hermits move a coral trying to feast.

In doing some nightly reading, I feel inclined to bump this just to give new ppl like me a chance to commit this thread to memory. :D I'm suprised nobody has tried to weaponize this stuff :I

lol.... thanks for bumping it. I hadn't read it and didn't know the importance of wearing gloves. Didn't really know that dangerous of stuff could be got for the home aquarium. I remember back in the day getting hit by the mantis shrimp or an anemone sting. Thanks and WATCHOUT!!! lol j/k

thanks for bumping. i had forgot about this thread. Ever since that incident i wear gloves, unless its just to put back a fallen PH of something (i'll never learn). I bought some surgical gloves, there not latex but i forgot what material they are made of... they are powder free and blue. The only problem with them is they arent that thought, they cut open pretty easley if im grabbing sharp parts of LR.

    Thanks again for the bump.

    Marc.
